In 1980, James Langford joined his father’s company, becoming the second Professional Engineer on staff. This followed his experiences with large civil engineering projects around the country and the world including jobs in Chicago, Alaska, and Saudi Arabia. When Bill Langford retired in 1988, he sold the firm to his son Jim. Jim’s influence is still felt today as Langford & Low continues to build on the foundation of quality and customer service that it has been known for. The trust, quality and dependability Jim established with the help of his team has gained credibility with many distinguished clients including Shaw’s Supermarkets, Maine Medical Center, and more.
Jim works alongside the Langford & Low team and continues to assist with company financials, accounting, and bidding new projects. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Maine.
