Here’s to 50.
We are proud to celebrate our 50th anniversary in 2017! While our entire business is focused on buildings and spaces, we look back over 50 years with a deep appreciation for relationships. From the clients who have entrusted us with their project to the architects and engineers who turn ideas into plans to every subcontractor and employee who has helped us turn plans into beautiful buildings, it’s the people we work with every day who matter.Learn About Our History
In 1977, Edwin Low retired from Langford & Low, leaving Bill Langford as the sole owner. Soon after, James Langford joined his father, bringing a second professional engineering degree to the business. When Bill retired in 1988, James took over and continued to build on the foundation of quality.
Today, owners Dan Williams and Gus Doughty are moving Langford & Low forward, facing the challenges unique to today’s construction industry, picking up where James Langford left off.
Our client relationships, including Shaw’s Supermarkets, Maine Medical Center and many other esteemed businesses across New England, as well as our trusted partnerships with architects, engineers and subcontractors, are the foundation of both our success and our future.
We’re embracing the future with respect and pride for where we started and a great deal of enthusiasm for the impact we can make in the future. Thank you to everyone who has helped us achieve this milestone. Cheers to the next 50 years!
