Flanking highway 295 adjacent to the Falmouth, Maine exit, we constructed this outpatient facility for Maine Medical Center as a modern structure, including exam rooms and offices. The building is sited to provide a barrier from the noise of the interstate while opening itself up to patients with the extensive use of glazing on the east and south sides of the building. Masonry and pre-cast concrete blend this sleek building into traditional Falmouth architecture but continue its modern edge with the use of innovative facade details. 18% of this project was completed by Langford & Low’s own construction forces.
