This unique church located in South Portland, Maine was transformed with this interior and exterior renovation. Prior to Langford & Low’s involvement, the main assembly and worship space had no windows or skylights. The renovations involved installing two large skylights (necessitating structural work) which allow ample natural light to flood the space and creates a dramatic effect over the sanctuary and baptismal font. Existing brick exterior walls were cut as well to allow for new prominent stained glass windows. Original painted murals at the front entry were recreated because renovation work impacted portions of them.
